A Masterpiece of a Fundraiser: 2024 Art Gallery Fundraiser

Our school community came together once again to celebrate creativity, talent, and teamwork with the 2024 Art Gallery Fundraiser. This extraordinary event showcased the artistic and musical talents of our students while raising funds for a cause close to our hearts: the installation of our school’s new playground.

An Evening of Art and Music

The night began with a delightful musical performance by our elementary students. Their harmonious voices set the tone for a night of creativity and community. Following their performance, a talented band quartet filled the air with beautiful melodies, creating a lively and elegant atmosphere as guests explored the gallery.

A Canvas of Creativity

The spotlight of the event was the breathtaking array of student artwork. Each student in our art classes created a unique piece on canvas, which was displayed gallery-style for parents, families, and friends to admire. These one-of-a-kind masterpieces were available for purchase, giving attendees the chance to take home a piece of the students' creativity.

Adding to the display were stunning photographs by Mrs. Herne’s photography students. Each student selected their favorite photo to print and display, showcasing their talent for capturing moments through their lens. These photographs, also available for purchase, added a new dimension to the gallery.

Collaboration and Community Spirit

The centerpiece of the evening was the auction of collaborative class art projects. Each class worked together to create a larger piece of artwork, blending their talents into striking and imaginative creations.

Our very own Mr. Wagner served as the auctioneer, bringing his signature energy and charm to the bidding process. His humor and enthusiasm encouraged lively participation, and the collaborative pieces drew some impressive bids.

Sweet Treats and Sweet Success

No event is complete without a little indulgence, and the evening featured a selection of delicious desserts for attendees to enjoy. As guests savored the treats, they mingled, admired the art, and celebrated the amazing work of our students and teachers.

Supporting Play Through Art

By the end of the evening, the 2024 Art Gallery Fundraiser raised an incredible $20,234! These funds will go directly toward the installation of our school’s new playground, which will soon become a space for students to play, explore, and grow.

A Heartfelt Thank You

This event wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our students, teachers, and volunteers. A special thank you to our elementary performers, the band quartet, our art and photography teachers, and of course, Mr. Wagner, for making the evening unforgettable. To our parents and community members—your support and generosity are the heart of everything we do.

Looking Ahead

The Art Gallery Fundraiser was a beautiful celebration of creativity, music, and community spirit. We’re thrilled to see the playground installation move closer to completion thanks to this event, and we’re eagerly awaiting the day when students can enjoy their new play space.
